The key to my whole retail business is to make the store a destination. It’s not all about right now, it’s all about forever. I have a lifetime guarantee on my handmade shell gifts that I’ve been making for 35 years. A lifetime plays a major part of creating my gifts and having people come back year after year.

It’s never been about buying a souvenir, it is about making an Outer Banks memory, by sharing my handmade nautical gifts. Or giving someone one of our handcrafted beach glass pieces of jewelry. Each piece of sea glass has been found on The Outer Banks. I go out on the beach every morning searching for these precious little gems and have been for the last 25 years. Many of my designs and shell creations come from these early morning walks.

God has used my creativity often to glorify Him with the shells and look what He has done with the sea glass; breaking up the bottles, tumbling the pieces in the ocean for many years and sending them my way to the oceans edge.

My journey with the seashells and sea glass has been a tremendous adventure. One of love and sincere gratitude. My life works have been of thanksgiving.
